Cirrus is celebrating a decade of its Vision Jet, a single-engine personal jet that has transformed personal aviation. The company marked the 10-year anniversary of the Collier Trophy-winning aircraft at NBAA-BACE 2026. The Vision Jet, first certified by the FAA in 2016, introduced a new approach to jet aviation with its spacious cabin, single-engine efficiency, and advanced safety features, including the Cirrus Airframe Parachute System (CAPS).
Over the past ten years, the Vision Jet has undergone three generations of innovation. The G2 model offered improved performance and cabin enhancements, while the G2+ added expanded connectivity and emergency autoland capabilities. The latest G3 Vision Jet features ATC Datalink, Spectra LED Wingtip Lights, and a 6+1 seating configuration, with a top speed of 317 knots. Cirrus has delivered over 800 Vision Jets globally, making it the best-selling jet in General Aviation.
The Vision Jet has expanded its role beyond personal transportation. It now supports business transportation, supplemental lift, special missions, and Part 135 charter operations. The Indiana Donor Network utilizes a Vision Jet through its TxJet program, the first nonprofit organ transplant aviation program in the nation. TxJet uses the aircraft to transport organs and surgical recovery teams between hospitals, highlighting the jet’s speed and efficiency in critical missions.

“Over the last decade, the Vision Jet has grown into an entirely new category of business jet and changed what’s possible for regional travel,” said Zean Nielsen, Chief Executive Officer of Cirrus. “Continuous innovation in the aircraft, paired with our investment in training, service, connectivity, and support, has built a complete ecosystem that lets customers do more with their Vision Jet.”
Cirrus has developed an integrated ecosystem to support Vision Jet owners and operators. This includes factory-direct service and support, with type ratings available at the Vision Center in Knoxville and recurrent training in Scottsdale. The Cirrus Authorized Network provides worldwide training and maintenance support. The company also offers JetStream for fleet management and Cirrus IQ for connected aircraft information and insights.
The company is advancing aircraft maintenance and fleet operations management automation through JetStream and Cirrus IQ. Cirrus IQ provides owners and operators with connected aircraft information and insights designed to simplify aircraft management and increase visibility into aircraft status. JetStream provides a comprehensive ownership program designed to simplify scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, training, and other operating requirements. These services create an integrated ecosystem around the Vision Jet, extending the Cirrus experience throughout aircraft ownership.
The G3 Vision Jet will be on display at NBAA-BACE in the LVCC booth #2505. Additional information is available at cirrusaircraft.com/aircraft/vision-jet. Cirrus, founded in 1984, is a leader in personal aviation and the maker of the SR Series piston aircraft and the Vision Jet.
